Reporting to the Enterprise Applications Development and Integration Manager, the Senior ABAP Developer will work as a member of the Development and Integration team providing mainly SAP software development and support. The individual will have a strong level of experience writing and modifying ABAP reports, user exits, BADIs and dialogue programming while ensuring the use of best practices and latest SAP technology and development techniques. Working knowledge of Workflow and the latest SAP UX tools (Fiori and SAPUI5) is beneficial. The position is full-time, however contractors will be considered.
As a Senior ABAP Developer at Graham you will:
  • Writing new and modifying existing ABAP reports, user exits, BADIs and dialogue programming in EHP7
  • Support of SAP modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, HR, AM, PS
  • Defining and coding conversions and interfaces using LSMW, BAPI, IDOC, BDC, and call transaction update methods
  • Writing technical specifications and testing scripts from functional design specifications
  • Development using SAP development workbench, including function builder & data dictionary
  • Use of SAP Object Oriented Development techniques
  • Performance tuning ABAP code and use of best practices
  • PI integration, PROXY and interface development
  • Use of Advanced techniques such as dynamic and reference objects variables
  • Use of Solution Manager CHARM.
  • Output development using SmartForm, SAPScript, Adobe Smartforms
  • Use of ALV grids in the OO context.
  • Development of OData services and methods for use with Fiori and/or SAPUI5
To be Successful at Graham, you will have the following qualifications and experience: 
  • A B.Sc. in Computer Science, MIS, (or equivalent), or SAP Certification in SAP ABAP NW 7.x with 7+ years of enterprise development experience
  • Has 5+ years of experience as an ABAP Programmer (ECC 6.0 and higher - EHP7 beneficial)
  • Excellent problem solving, data analysis and communication skills (written and oral)
  • The ability to write efficient, maintainable code that conforms to internal development standards
  • An understanding of object-oriented development, Software Development Life Cycle and transactional database design is preferred
  • Be highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Enjoy learning new technologies
  • The ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • A desire to learn the details of the construction and engineering industry
  • Preference will be given to individuals who have experience in:
                  - Development of ABAP and/or HANA OData services
                  - NetWeaver PI (Process Integration)
                  - SAP Workflow
                  - SAP Personas
